Indianapolis Autonomous Shuttle Pilot

A Look at Indianapolis’s Autonomous Shuttle Pilot Virtual Panel

Nov 10, 2021 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Indianapolis may be most famous for its car races, but a new pilot program hopes to put the city on the autonomous vehicle map, as well. In this PAVE virtual panel, we’ll speak with panelists from May Mobility, the Toyota Mobility Foundation, and IndyGo about how they are using autonomous shuttles to enhance their public transit service — and are currently offering free rides to the public! We’ll find out how the shuttles work, who the shuttles serve, what they’ve learned from the pilot program, and how AVs could further enhance transit in the future.
Panelists:
  • Trey Ingram – Program Manager, Toyota Mobility Foundation
  • Tara Lanigan – Head of Policy, May Mobility
  • Brooke Thomas – Director of Strategic Planning, IndyGo
