Reuters Events Automotive is presenting a Security Virtual Workshop for OEMs and Tier 1s on July 14th. The hour-long workshop, hosted by Murray Stewart, Senior Security Engineer at Arxan (a part of Digital.ai), will cover common security challenges with connected automotive, transport, and payment applications. The session will also explore best practices for app protection, including key and data encryption, code obfuscation, and real-time threat analytics.
Organizers of the workshop point to a growing link between connected cars and mobile apps. These apps are used for a number of different functions, such as unlocking the doors, starting the vehicle, and initiating payments. Like other mobile applications, connected car apps are vulnerable to a slew of attacks that can put customers and companies at risk.
This workshop is limited to 30 places (OEMs & Tier 1s only). Companies who are interested in attending the virtual session can register here.
