“The automotive industry is transitioning from a mechanical and electronic hardware viewpoint towards the software-defined car,” explained Andrew Hopkins, Director of System Technology for Arm. “But that is quite a long and potentially challenging journey – and along that journey, several different versions of car architecture emerge.”
